Daily Plan for Forex Affiliate

Being forex affiliate (or any other niche affiliate) you need to set a weekly schedule. Is it important to follow your weekly goals? How hard is it to discipline yourself when working from home? Is it necessary to go by the list, or affiliate business should be a flexible profession?

Working from home is not as easy as it may sound. The hardest part of being forex affiliate is to be disciplined and keep a set schedule.

Being organized is one of the important factors of being a successful affiliate; therefore here is the list of things you should consider:

1. The most important work should be done on a daily basis, first thing in the morning (after you have brushed your teeth and sipped some coffee). The morning hours are your "power hours". This is when your brain is more active and therefore this is the time to squeeze the most out of your affiliate talent!

2. Work for at least 2-3 hours straight without interruptions (email checking, photo uploading to facebook, chatting, news reading etc.). Spoil yourself during "lunch break" with half an hour "dine and wine" (not necessary wine, since you do have to get back to some more important daily tasks!).

3. Stick to your plan for one month and it will become a habit. You will no longer find yourself wondering around the house in pajamas and checking emails every chance possible.

4. Keep a checklist. It gives enough motivation to complete all the necessary things before the day is over. Backlinks from forex-related sites? Check! New forex article? Check! Directory submissions? Check! Forex forum posting? Done! Social networks link posts? Done! And so on! Believe me, at the end of the day, if some tasks are left uncheck, you will definitely feel guilty. And this time the only person to blame is you!

5. Forex requires a lot of attention and focus however don't overdo it. Follow the schedule, but don't be a workaholic. Take breaks every couple of hours and definitely have a good night sleep.

6. During the "round check" - you forex sites, mail, forex links, posts, affiliate campaigns, affiliate stats, site stats etc., make sure to find time and peek at your (more victorious) competition. It will motivate you to work harder and maybe, one day, reach the same success.

7. Keep away from distraction. Find a quite place to work (somewhere away from the fridge, TV, your dog, your family etc.) Working from home without a boss handing on your head is difficult because of the never ending amount of distractive things. Be strong!

8. Keep it simple. The last thing you want to do is to get frustrated. Being forex affiliate, you have tones of ideas - design of the site itself, navigation, special forex features etc., however it is important to not only be realistic about your ability to make those ideas into reality, but also it is crucial to take one step at a time. Don't try to build a forex network in one month. Start small, focus on a particular forex topic and concentrate on that. "Rome was not build in one day" , so don't expect your forex site to become the most important international forex community in a blink of an eye!

9. Every email is important, even if it isn't a month-watering business proposal! Make sure to answer questions from your forex site visitors (whether via email, forum post or blog discussion).

10. Spend time researching. Are forex traders not convinced with the forex products you represent? Maybe the lack of conversions are not related to your web design or affiliate skills - maybe the product website isn't professional enough, the features are not attractive, terms and conditions are too striked. Always put yourself in your visitor's shoes. Would you sign up for this broker? Would you buy from this signal provider? Would you use this forex course?

To summarize, one of the successful affiliate strategy is planning. Forex affiliate marketing is a round the clock work. Make the most of it by having a time table. I promise, the 8 hours per day will feel so much more productive if all of your tasks are checked!
